If you do not have time or money to travel to a live seminar somewhere in the UK, this e-Seminar is just what you need.
50 Innovative Companies in Combat Medicine & Battlefield Healthcare 2016
This e-Seminar provides practical guidance on the UK and EU export regulations. We won’t waste your time with legal mumbo jumbo and export control theory. Instead, we use countless practical examples to show how UK export controls work in the real world. We will clearly identify the compliance and business issues UK controls present for UK exporters and non-UK companies that deal with the UK. Throughout our practical training, we will use many hands-on practice exercises to give you a chance to validate that you understand the key issues. While the training is UK-focused, we will also present the key EU export control issues that everybody needs to understand.
Who will benefit from this training?
Companies Located Inside the UK: It is imperative that UK businesses understand how export controls impact their day to day activities. Export controls directly impact product development, travel, and working with foreign nationals, failure to comply with the complex regulations can result in monetary fines and denial of export privileges.
Companies Located Outside of the UK: If you do business, have affiliates, or partners in the United Kingdom, or are looking to partner with a UK company on a key business venture, understanding how UK export controls impact your activities can give you an important advantage when it comes to both strategic business and compliance decisions and day-to-day business activities.
The UK Government makes routine, “friendly” visits to UK exporters to check on the health of their compliance programs. It is certainly better to have best practices in place before the visit than to quickly implement as a result of government recommendations after the visit. Elizabeth Carter, a recognized expert in UK and EU export controls, brings her 35 plus years of experience to this training both to explain the rules and to deliver key insights on export compliance best practices. Ms. Carter doesn’t just gloss over the rules and give you a list of things to learn-she will use practical examples and exercises to teach you how the rules actually work and show you the business and compliance issues the rules create.
