Component Control announced today that Avialta Helicopter Maintenance, LTD, a Transport Canada approved helicopter repair and maintenance shop, has expanded its Quantum Control MRO and Logistics software solution to manage both Avialta Helicopter Maintenance and Aven Helicopters, its helicopter leasing operator. Both companies are located at the Villeneuve Airport, St. Albert AB just north of Edmonton and together provide maintenance, parts sales, component overhauls, and third party maintenance in western Canada.
“When selecting an operational solution, we wanted a system that could be used by every department in the company to create process efficiencies and to aggregate accounting related data, such as labor, part sales and services into one database,” commented Maury Wood, Customer Support Manager at Avialta. “We vetted solutions based on their accounting capabilities and comprehensive operational footprint and found Quantum to be the best. Since going-live with Quantum, we’ve been able to seamlessly and quickly add modules as we grow our capabilities, such as parts management for Aven Helicopters.”
The Quantum Accounting module brings compliance, auditability and simplified processes for the regulated Aviation industry and its quality control requirements. Designed specifically for Aviation, Quantum's Accounting provides a tightly integrated financial solution, allowing CFOs to organize around business units and profit centers to manage and measure all financial activity and operations.
Continued Mr. Wood, “As for Stockmarket we began by using the online service mostly to source parts, but recently we’ve been seeing more and more RFQ’s, and it’s opened up our inventory to companies throughout the US that we normally wouldn’t have done any business with. I believe that with the popularity of Quantum in the industry we are seeing more and more people using the service to source their parts.”
Avialta Helicopter Maintenance is a 2014 Bell Helicopter Platinum Customer Service Facility and was recently certified as a Turbomeca Service Center.
