Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that, during its third quarter of fiscal 2015, its New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., received additional orders totaling approximately $2.2 million under a previously announced $6.0 million Purchase Agreement with a major domestic OEM to supply solid-state high-power amplifiers.
These amplifiers are key components in a complex Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) system used to interrogate aircraft to determine their friend or foe status. This order supplements an installed base of Comtech IFF solid-state high-power amplifiers previously delivered to this customer.
Dr. Stanton Sloane, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, "We are pleased to have received these additional orders which once again reaffirms the quality and reliability of Comtech's solid-state amplifier products as well as the continuation of our relationship with this premier supplier of IFF systems to both U.S. and international customers."
