Rolls-Royce Welcomes Arkia Selection of Up to 4 A330neo Aircraft Powered by Trent 7000
Rolls-Royce welcomes the decision by ARKIA Israeli Airlines to select up to four Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, powered by the Trent 7000 engine.

The Trent 7000 brings together:
- Experience from the Trent 700 - the engine of choice for the current A330
- Architecture and technology from the Trent 1000 TEN - the latest version of the Trent 1000 engine
The 68-72,000lb thrust Trent 7000 will deliver significant performance benefits compared to the current version of the Trent 700. It will improve specific fuel consumption by ten per cent; have twice the bypass ratio; and will halve noise.
ARKIA also operates two Boeing 757-300 aircraft powered by Rolls-Royce RB211 engines.

This commitment to the Trent 7000 is in addition to four Trent 1000-powered Boeing 787 Dreamliners that will be delivered to MG Aviation next year. MG Aviation, a division of the Nakash Family conglomerate, will be structuring the A330neo order. The Nakash brothers and Jordache Enterprises are majority shareholders of ARKIA Israeli Airlines and manage a multibillion-dollar investment portfolio including MG Aviation Hong Kong, U.S. POLO Assn, retail, agriculture, transportation, manufacturing, hotels and real estate located in prime locations throughout the world.
