Kongsberg Gallium Announces General Availability of InterMAPhics 8
Kongsberg Gallium Inc, today announced the general availability of InterMAPhics 8, the latest version of Kongsberg Gallium’s world leading, high performance, multi platform software development toolkit for mission visualization.
The latest release of InterMAPhics 8 offers a number of new features and capabilities. The new Mission Preparation Tool abstracts all mapping, imagery and elevation products into a single intuitive, easy to use tool which makes the creation of map, video and image datasets a snap. This new capability allows non-GIS staff to manage and load all GIS-related data with no effort in a fraction of the time. Datasets and style sheets can be imported or exported to be shared amongst all InterMAPhics developers through the free online repository.

In addition InterMAPhics 8 includes enhancements to style sheet usage, a simplified map loading API, extended 3D support and an extension to MIL-STD-2525 symbology. InterMAPhics 8 simplifies map handling in the application while at the same time providing greater control over the look and behavior of the maps.
