Global Military Aerospace Simulation and Training Market Research Report 2016
With more than 75,000 live-fire target systems installed on 122 military bases around the world, Meggitt Training Systems is the only manufacturer of both live fire and virtual training systems, providing a dedicated team for design and on-site installation. While virtual marksmanship and judgmental training systems like Meggitt’s FATS® M100 and BlueFire® wireless weaponry remain in demand throughout the Middle East, the region has seen an increase in requests for indoor and outdoor live fire range designs and systems.
“We are seeing a growing training trend throughout the Middle East,” said Frank Socolow, managing director, Middle East and North Africa. “Meggitt’s multi-role, live fire ranges provide greater training flexibility for a variety of defense and security organizations. Our indoor and outdoor ranges offer varying distances for shooting; tactical ranges and shoot houses for special security forces; and drive-on ranges for VIP protection-type exercises.”
