Pro Line 21™ Advanced also offers the newest version of Rockwell Collins’ Integrated Flight Information System (IFIS) with split chart capability, which features North American XM satellite weather—including the continental U.S. and portions of Canada and the Caribbean, uplinked global weather and enhanced usability of electronic charts, maps and documents. The system also automatically displays the airport chart once the aircraft lands.
“The next-generation features we’re bringing to Pro Line 21 are positioning these aircraft for the long term,” said Craig Olson, vice president and general manager, Business and Regional Systems for Rockwell Collins. “The enhancements also deliver a greater level of safety and efficiency for flight crews, ultimately benefitting the passengers with smoother flights that arrive to their destinations on time.”
