Emergent Awarded Two SEWP V Contracts

Emergent, LLC, an award-winning IT solutions provider, today announced that it has been awarded two contracts under the Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V (SEWP V) Group A and Group D competitive procurements.

SEWP V is the fifth generation of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) popular Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC)—a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle available to all federal agencies to procure state-of-the-art information technology (IT) products, services, and solutions.

Against a backdrop of the Government's shrinking budgets and demanding mission requirements, SEWP V will make available a wide range of more innovative, interoperable, and powerful hardware, software, and emerging technologies at a more affordable price—and through secure channels.

Available on November 1, 2014 , each SEWP V contract has an effective ordering period of 10 years, consisting of a five-year base period and a single five-year option to extend the period of performance through Oct. 31, 2024 .

"Each award reflects our understanding of the SEWP program and our commitment to its integrity," said James Flint , Vice President of Corporate Development. "We will be ready on Day 1."

Emergent's participation in the SEWP V contract will officially kick-off on November 1 , 2014.  "Our prgram management approach is based upon our understanding of the complexity of the SEWP contract, our corporate goals that state we must be a top contributor and ready on Day 1, and our dedication to uphold the integrity of the SEWP program," stated Paul Kohler , Executive Vice President of Emergent.
