NCI Awarded $3.1 M Army Contract for Engineering Technology Services

(RESTON, Va., Oct. 27, 2005) -- NCI, Inc. (NASDAQ:NCIT), a provider of information technology services and solutions to U.S. federal government agencies, announced today that it has been awarded a subcontract under a five-year task order worth approximately $3.1 million, through the U.S. Army AMCOM Express program. NCI will provide support to the Corrosion Prevention and Control Center of Excellence through the Program Manager, Aviation Ground Support Equipment (PM-AGSE) in Huntsville, Ala. NCI will serve as a subcontractor on the winning Madison Research Corporation (MRC) team, specifically providing an integrated approach to reducing the impact of corrosion on system readiness, performance, maintenance, life extension, safety, environmental impact, and life cycle costs.

"Material corrosion is a serious problem impacting every facet of military readiness. As a consequence, corrosion prevention and control is one of the fundamental considerations in assuring the sustained performance and readiness of Army systems and equipment. We are pleased that NCI has been given the opportunity to support the Army in addressing this PM-AGSE mission," said Terry Glasgow, NCI Chief Operating Officer.
