Subsystem Technologies, Inc. (SUBSYSTEMs) announced it has recently been awarded a new $4.4 million task order contract for Towed Artillery Digitization Program Support for the Department of the Army's Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey.
ARDEC, as one of the specialized research, development and engineering centers within the U.S. Army Materiel Command, is an internationally-acknowledged hub for the advancement of armaments technology and engineering innovation. ARDEC's workforce provides lifecycle support for nearly 90 percent of the U.S. Army's weapons and munitions.
Under this task order contract, SUBSYSTEMs will continue to provide engineering, hardware and software design and development, technical support, proto-typing, and testing support for the Digital Fire Control Systems (DFCS) used on various towed artillery weapons systems.
“SUBSYSTEMs’ award of this opportunity by the Army Contracting Contract continues our long-term partnership with US Army ARDEC and is an excellent example of our commitment to customer service and satisfaction,” said Defense Division Director Indra Nayee. “This opportunity demonstrates our successful strategy to secure current efforts in our advanced engineering core competency.”
