  • Continuing Work Strengthens Presence in C4ISR Market

CACI International Inc (NYSE:CACI) announced today that it has been awarded a $26.6 million contract award to provide Engineering and Technical Related Services (ETRS) in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD). This contract, which is for one base year and two one-year options, was awarded under the SeaPort-e contract vehicle that CACI received in 2004. It represents continuing work for CACI and strengthens its presence in its C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) market area.

NSWC IHEODTD, located in Indian Head, Md., is one of nine Warfare Center divisions that report to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). It provides research, development, engineering, manufacturing, testing, evaluation, and in-service support for energetics, ordnance, and EOD solutions for the Navy and joint forces. The ETRS contract supports the division's Picatinny Detachment, which manages gun systems, ammunition, and ordnance materials for the Navy.
