Iron Bow's ITES-2H Contract Extended by US Army
Iron Bow Technologies LLC, an information technology solutions provider, announced today that the United States Army Contracting Command has extended the company’s Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 Hardware (ITES-2H) contract by an additional 11 months.
The most recent extension to the ITES-2H contract was set to expire in July of 2014. This new extension enables the Army to purchase and implement necessary enterprise IT solutions through June of 2015, while also increasing the contract ceiling by an additional $774 million.
Cybersecurity Threats Require Dynamic Response Capabilities
"Today’s Army relies on best-of-breed IT products and services for communication and coordination across the entire organization – from base commands to the battlefield," said Rene LaVigne, President and CEO, Iron Bow Technologies. "The ITES-2H contract is the only existing contract vehicle that the Army can utilize to acquire and implement these essential IT solutions. Iron Bow is honored to be among the solution providers of choice for the Army and remains committed to delivering the technologies that power the military today and into the future.”
Widely considered one of the federal government’s best run and managed contracts, the ITES-2H Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract enables the United States Army and its subordinate commands to purchase state-of-the-art enterprise IT hardware and software solutions, and related services. These solutions can include a range of devices, such as workstations, networking equipment, displays, video teleconferencing (VTC) solutions and the related services for their configuration, implementation, maintenance and relocation.
