BAE's XTS Guard Achieves Select DoD & Intelligence Community Certification
BAE Systems’ XTS® Guard has been accredited by the Cross Domain Technical Advisory Board and added to the Unified Cross Domain Services Management Office (UCDSMO) baseline product list – a standard required for installation by much of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC).
The XTS Guard is a high-assurance, cross domain solution that enables secure information sharing between networks of various security classifications and enclaves. A single guard is capable of handling 20 domains and carrying multiple data types at high speed. The number of supported domains and combination of functionality eliminates the need for multiple guards and lowers the total cost of ownership associated with reoccurring maintenance or services engagements.

“This accreditation is only awarded to a select number of products, and will allow us to provide the U.S. Defense and Intelligence Community with an advanced network security solution capable of meeting a variety of mission requirements,” said Jordan Becker, vice president and general manager of BAE Systems’ Intelligence & Security sector.
The UCDSMO maintains a validated list of approved baseline products deployed within the DoD and IC. The certification of the XTS Guard on the UCDSMO baseline means that a government-sponsor has it on its network, has an existing body of test evidence, and a minimum three-year life-cycle support agreement. In addition, the UCDSMO technical staff has evaluated the package for completeness and systems development life-cycle considerations.
BAE Systems' XTS Guard has been proven to increase efficiency across a variety of architectures in more than 700 deployments world-wide. XTS Guard is also the Defense Information Systems Agency’s enterprise-wide security solution, and is used by the agency to securely share mission-critical information among authorized users in the DoD and across the Global Information Grid.
