Fokker celebrates opening of its CMRO facilities in Singapore

Fokker Services, part of Fokker Technologies, celebrates today the opening of its brand new component maintenance facility in Singapore.  The facility is co-located with the existing airframe heavy maintenance facility at Seletar AeroSpace Park, Fokker Services Asia. The shop's capabilities are focused on regional aircraft types including ATR 42/72, Bombardier Dash 8 and Fokker, as well as narrowbodies such as the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737.  The capabilities encompass Avionics, Hydraulics and limited structural component maintenance.  The shop has also been nominated by Gables Engineering as their Asia Pacific warranty repair station, expanding on the existing relationship between the Fokker Services Netherlands facility, and Gables.

"This expansion of our service offering in Singapore is another step forward in our strategy of bringing our support closer to our customers, with the focus on the regional aircraft segment, an area which Fokker Services knows like no other.  It is concrete proof of our commitment to our Asia Pacific customer base”, says Raj Ramanujam, VP Marketing & Sales Fokker Services Asia. Fokker Services Asia has been providing quality airframe base maintenance services for the regional aircraft market in the Asia Pacific since 1997 and became an ATR MRO Network partner in February 2012, shortly after re-locating to a brand-new state-of-the-art facility at Seletar AeroSpace Park.
