OnPoint Consulting, Inc. (OnPoint) is pleased to announce the award of a 10-year, $59 million contract with the U.S. Air Force to provide IT services to the Air Force District of Washington (AFDW). Headquartered at Andrews Air Force Base, AFDW is the Air Force component for the National Capital Region under Joint Force Headquarters-National Capital Region Command.
Under the AFNCR (Air Force National Capital Region) IT contract, OnPoint will provide Information Assurance, Operations & Maintenance for Headquarters Air Force (HAF) Unique Systems, Asset Management, and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Solution Engineering. OnPoint's subcontractors on the AFNCR contract are Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Datum Software, a small, woman-owned business with more than 10 years of experience supporting the Air Force. The majority of the work will be performed at Joint Base Andrews, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) and the Pentagon.
OnPoint will support the AFNCR government staff in maintaining architectural, technical and procedural data and products. This includes preparing and maintaining documentation and reports to support AFNCR compliance with applicable laws and regulations, improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions and supporting civil engineering efforts. In addition, OnPoint will capture architecture, requirements, objectives and policies, and roles, processes and procedures to develop implement, oversee and maintain the AFNCR Information Assurance (IA) Program.
