Hawaii Shipyard to Maintain and Modernize Guided-Missile Destroyer USS Chung Hoon

  • Welcoming the USS Chung Hoon to the Hawaii Shipyard, proudly co-located with the U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor.

After completing a deployment to the Western Pacific, the Chung Hoon returned to the ship's homeport of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in October 2013. Under a $37 million contract, the company will provide maintenance and modernization efforts, which are expected to be completed by August 2014.

Our Hawaii shipyard is the largest private sector ship repair facility in the state.
