Guam's GTA Wins US Navy Wireless Service Contract
- GTA will provide Blackberry and cellular phone services to U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Guam
Guam-based communications company GTA expanded the range of services it provides to the U.S. military in the island by winning a five-year, $5.1 million contract from the U.S. Department of the Navy.
Under the terms of the contract, GTA will provide Blackberry and cellular phone wireless communication services in various locations to the Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Guam (NAVFAC). GTA was awarded the contract after a bidding process among several interested communications providers.

“Over the years, GTA has participated in federal bids to provide various communications services to the U.S. government. Through this process we have been successful in securing multiple contracts. This recent federal award is the largest granted to GTA to date,” said Robert Haulbrook, president and chief executive officer at GTA. “With the announcement of this $5.1 million contract, we look forward to providing exceptional service and significant savings while filling their communications needs for the next five years.”
