Terma B.V. recently secured a Technical Information Technology support services contract worth EUR 5.5 million with ESA’s European Space and Technology Center (ESTEC) situated in Noordwijk, The Netherlands.
The contract represents a continuation of Terma’s ability to provide support for mission infrastructure in the European Space Agency’s (ESA) portfolio. The agreement consolidates Terma’s service activities with the ESA R&D Center (ESTEC) under one contract including IT support to numerous electronics and software laboratories, procurement, support to the ISS European Robotic Arm, and support for the prestigious Concurrent Design Facility.

This service contract sits beside a frame agreement whereby Terma provides staff to areas such as software engineering, payload technologies, satellite control & data systems, and concurrent design. Terma also provides staff working in the areas of microelectronics engineering, product assurance, and space project control.
Terma has supplied IT support staff to ESTEC since the 1970s, and this was formalized into a proper service in 1996.
The new Technical Information Technology support services contract is a real testament to our established Facility Management team for their fine work and dedication that ESA has such confidence in partnering with Terma for such critical support, said Beau Greville Director, Services.
