Boeing Marks 30 Years of Aerospace Electronics Fabrication in El Paso
Boeing [NYSE: BA] and the City of El Paso today marked three decades of advanced electronics manufacturing for products ranging from spacecraft to fighter jets, bombers and missiles.
“For 30 years the men and women working at Boeing El Paso have demonstrated a dedication to quality and employee involvement,” said Rosaura Corral-Perez, Boeing El Paso site leader. “The skill sets and track record here will continue to help Boeing meet current and future customer needs.”

Boeing El Paso opened in 1983 and has supported major programs such as the International Space Station, the B-1B bomber, Patriot missiles, Minuteman ICBMs and the F-15 and F/A-18 fighters. To further enhance its competitiveness, the site is pursuing U.S. Federal Aviation Administration certification and preparing to take on electronics work for commercial aviation.
