LM To Deploy ATM Training Systems in Kazakhstan
Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] will deploy three advanced air traffic management training and simulation systems for Kazeronavigatsia, Kazakhstan’s air navigation services provider. The new systems will enable enhanced air traffic controller training and enhance Kazakhstan’s ability to develop air traffic management training simulations based upon the unique needs of the nation’s airspace.
The simulation and training systems will be installed in Kazakhstan’s enroute air traffic control facilities, known as area control centers, in Almaty, Astana and Aktobe. The systems will include Lockheed Martin’s Skyline™ air traffic management system and training partner UFA’s ATCoach® training suite, providing a realistic training experience based on the same air traffic management system operating in Kazakhstan’s real-world airspace.
