Multiple US Government Agencies Place Orders for QS-B220 Explosives Trace Detector
- Proven Performance of Implant Sciences' Equipment Leads to New Deployments
Implant Sciences Corporation (OTCQB: IMSC), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security and defense markets, today announced that, in recent weeks, U.S. Government agencies purchased multiple QS-B220 desktop explosives trace detectors. These purchases were made possible due to Implant Sciences' QS-B220 successfully completing Independent Testing & Evaluation (IT&E) with the Transportation Security Laboratory (TSL).
"The QS-B220's strong performance in TSL testing has opened the door to new opportunities within the U.S. Government, and in an environment of growing budgetary pressure, the cost advantages of the product really stand out. Implant Sciences' products offer superior performance couple with a compelling value proposition for both government and commercial clients," commented Darryl Jones, Implant Sciences' Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
