Boeing Statement on WestJet's Intent to Purchase 65 737 MAX Airplanes
Boeing (NYSE: BA) is delighted that WestJet has entered into a letter of intent to purchase 65 737 MAX airplanes, consisting of 40 737 MAX 8s and 25 737 MAX 7s. This pending order, valued at $6.3 billion at current list prices, is a key component of the Calgary-based carrier's strategy to optimize and modernize its fleet.
