Aeroman, a leading Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organization in the Americas has started operations with the Airbus Managed Inventory (AMI) service. AMI is an automated system which continuously ensures the automatic replenishment of high-usage and non-repairable Airbus parts. With a modern facility located at El Salvador International Airport, Aeroman provides maintenance services to A320 family operators from North and South America, who will all benefit from AMI.

Ernesto Ruiz, CEO of Aeroman says: “We have implemented AMI into our supply chain process, as this allows us to focus more on providing the best maintenance solutions to our customers, committed to exceed their expectations.” He added: “We are offering world-class quality and reliability in aircraft maintenance, components and specialized services. Keeping this high standard in the increasing and highly demanding market requires automated services like AMI.”

Didier Lux, EVP of Airbus Customer Services says: “We are pleased that Aeroman has chosen the Airbus Managed Inventory solution which is tailor-made for the supply chain requirements of our industry.” He adds: “The guaranteed on-shelf availability of AMI parts at optimum on-site inventory levels, facilitates our customers’ high level maintenance performance.”
