GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced delivery of a new leased Airbus A320 to Japan’s Peach Aviation to help expand the low-cost carrier’s fleet.
The aircraft is the 10th A320 in its fleet – all leased from GECAS. The first aircraft was delivered to Peach in November 2011. All 10 aircraft were part of GECAS’ existing order book with Airbus.
Inaugurating scheduled service in March 2012, Peach currently operates flights to destinations in Japan as well as Hong Kong, Seoul, and Taipei.
