ManTech Awarded $96 M to Provide Information and Enforcement Training Services for US CBP
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has awarded ManTech International Corporation (NASDAQ:MANT) a single-award blanket purchase agreement (BPA) under its GSA Schedule contract to provide information and enforcement training services to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) organization. The award has a potential value of $96 million, with a 1-year base period and four additional option years.
Under the BPA, ManTech will provide comprehensive training services for information technology systems, wireless and voice communications equipment, and enforcement technology to all CBP personnel as well as other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. The training will include instruction on the operation of a variety of non-intrusive inspection (NII) equipment deployed nationally and internationally, including large and small scale products, radiation equipment, and handheld NII equipment.
