ITT Exelis (NYSE: XLS) has been awarded a contract by Orbital Sciences Corporation (NYSE: ORB) to manufacture, assemble, test and deliver three composite-based bus structures for its GEOStar-3 communications satellite platform. In addition, Exelis will provide technical services and support.
