CACI Awarded Prime Position on $11 Bn Multiple-Award Contract

  • To Provide Acquisition Support for Department of Homeland Security

CACI International Inc (NYSE:CACI) announced today that it has been selected as one of 12 prime contractors to provide acquisition support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on the Technical, Acquisition and Business Support Services (TABSS) contract. This five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, which has a ceiling of $11 billion, represents new work for CACI and expands the company's presence in its C4ISR, Logistics and Material Readiness, and Business System markets.

This TABSS contract provides a major vehicle for all 22 DHS agencies, including the U.S. Coast Guard, to obtain mission-critical acquisition and program management support for systems, ships, aircraft, and IT services. CACI will provide work under the contract's Program Management, Engineering and Technology Support Services domain, which includes support for planning and administering programs and projects within the DHS program office, as well as designing, developing, and fielding assets, processes, and systems related to engineering and technology.

CACI has a strong track record in managing large IDIQ programs to best meet critical customer requirements and currently has prime positions on more than 70 such contracts. The company offers proven experience in cost-effective and efficient deployment of acquisition solutions as well as an in-depth knowledge of DHS agencies and missions.

According to John Mengucci, CACI Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations, "CACI has supported the Department of Homeland Security since its inception, providing results through leadership, program support, innovation, and quality services under a variety of contracts. With the TABSS award, we are proud to continue contributing to the DHS mission by providing acquisition solutions that ensure readiness for our nation's forces."

CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Dan Allen said, "This award demonstrates CACI's strategy to align our solutions in markets that meet our government's highest priorities. We welcome this opportunity to expand our support in assisting the Department of Homeland Security mission while at the same time advancing our presence in our established Logistics and Material Readiness, C4ISR, and Business System markets."
