GE Aviation Names TAE as the M601 and H80 Designated Repair Center in Asia-Pacific

Australian-based TAE signed an agreement with GE Aviation to become the M601 and H80 Designated Repair Center for the Asia-Pacific region.

Under this agreement, TAE will offer heavy repair services, engines rentals, line replacement unit rotable pools and field service support to all existing and future M601 and H80 engines in the Asia-Pacific region. GE Aviation will provide the necessary OEM parts to meet TAE's needs.

"TAE has serviced GE's F404 and F414 military engines for many years, and GE is looking forward to expanding our relationship to include the M601 and H80 turboprop engine for business and general aviation," said Jim Stoker, president and managing executive of GE Aviation's Business and General Aviation Turboprops. "TAE's strong presence in Asia-Pacific will help us assist our customers with quality service and support in this region."

"We are very excited to have been chosen by GE Aviation to represent them as the Asia-Pacific's Designated Repair Center for the new H80 engine and the existing Walter M601 engine fleet" said TAE's general manager Andrew Sanderson.  "We look forward to working with GE Aviation and expanding our renowned level of quality customer service to the new H80 engine customer base and the M601 operators in the Asia-Pacific region."
