Oldbury steps into the frame for UK MoD Technical Support
Skan Group’s specialist defence equipment engineering, integration and mobility solutions operation, has been awarded accreditation under the UK Ministry of Defence FATS 4 (Framework Agreement for Technical Support) programme.
Based on an audit of its technical expertise and capabilities, supply fulfilment experience and programme track record, the company is now officially listed within three Broad Capability Areas (BCA) covering ‘electrical and mechanical’, ’transport’ and ‘specialist installations, facilities and construction’.

Group Managing Director, Richard Skan says,” Accreditation of our company at this level is of major significance, not least because it highlights for our industry and customer base worldwide the embedded breadth, scope and diversity of our expanding defence business”.
As part of a requirement to provide examples of its international project track record during the process, the company included UOR environmental control equipment for deployment in theatre, surveillance platforms, ground docking units, ground stations for air navigation, load handling equipment, jet wash systems, mobile barriers and specialist transporters.
