L-3 Awarded Contract Position to Support Major USAF Cyber Initiative
L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) announced today that its STRATIS division has been awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract under the Agile Cyber Technology (ACT) program. Supporting the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), ACT has a funding ceiling of $300 million over the next five years. As one of six firms selected as an ID/IQ award winner, L-3 STRATIS is now qualified to compete for task orders as an ACT prime contractor.
The ACT contract provides a focused, yet flexible contracting vehicle for cyber acquisition between AFRL, military program offices and the operational community for rapid development, prototyping, demonstration, evaluation and transition of cyber capabilities.

AFRL is the Air Force’s organization wholly dedicated to leading the discovery, development and integration of warfighting technologies for air, space and cyberspace forces. L-3 STRATIS will be executing this contract from its cyber program office in San Antonio, Texas, which is also the home of 24th Air Force (AFCYBER) and the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency.
