Decision Sciences Awarded $400,000 US Defense Department Contract for Explosives Detection Technology

  • Testing Innovative Security Solutions for the Defense Department's Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office

Decision Sciences International, an advanced technology provider of security and detection systems, today announced it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO) to test muon tomography based scanning systems capable of detecting explosives.  The contract has an estimated value of $400,000 over eight months. 

"We're pleased to have this opportunity to work with the Department of Defense through CTTSO to evaluate and test Decision Sciences' technology," said Decision Sciences President and CEO Dr. Stanton D. Sloane.
