CAE Sells 3 Full-flight Simulators to Air China

CAE today announced that it has sold three full-flight simulators (FFSs) to Air China for the Airbus A320, A330 and Boeing 737 aircraft. The contracts are worth a total of C$42 million at list prices and bring the total number of FFS sales that CAE has announced to date during fiscal year 2013 to 10.

"The contracts with long-time customer Air China reflect CAE's continued leadership position in China," said Jeff Roberts, CAE's Group President, Civil Simulation Products, Training and Services. "Air China has been a CAE simulator customer for nearly two decades, and we are privileged to continue to serve their flight training needs."

The A320, A330 and Boeing 737 CAE 7000 Series simulators will be deployed to the Air China training centre in Beijing in 2013. Each FFS will include the third-generation CAE Tropos™-6000 visual system.
