Four dead in German tourist plane crash
Four people died when a single-engine tourist plane crashed into a forest early Sunday shortly after taking off from a Bavarian airport Sunday, German police said.
The Piper plane crashed at 6:00 am (0400 GMT) into the forest adjoining the airfield in Coburg, about 180 kilometres (110 miles) east of Frankfurt, police said in a statement.
"The four passengers -- two men aged 28 and 44 and two 31-year-old women -- had no chance of surviving," the statement added.
