Lufthansa Systems signs JetBlue Airways to 4-year agreement for efficient fuel management

Lufthansa Systems is proud to announce that JetBlue recently signed a four-year contract to automate its commercial fuel processes with FuelPlus. This marks the first agreement to be signed as a result of the distribution cooperation between Lufthansa Systems and FuelPlus in North America.

The fuel management software solutions have been developed in close cooperation with renowned airlines around the world. The mature, easy-to-use, and comprehensive IT system enables JetBlue to implement and operate state-of-the-art fuel management processes, meet governmental accounting standards, improve internal efficiencies, and achieve substantial savings.


JetBlue is an American value airline based at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, and is known for their award-winning customer service. With its fleet of 173 aircraft, the airline serves 71 destinations throughout North America, Latin America and the Caribbean. JetBlue has been a customer of Lufthansa Systems since 2009 using myIDTravel for its staff travel management.
