Cubic Announces USAF $14 M Contract for the Air Advisor Academy

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Cubic Applications, Inc., a mission support services subsidiary of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB), a contract to support the Air Advisor Academy located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey.

The Air Advisor Academy, a subordinate organization of Air Education and Training Command, provides education and training for Air Advisors and other airmen who engage with partner nation counterparts in support of Combatant Commands, their respective Air Components, Headquarters Air Force, Major Commands, and other tasks.  An Air Advisor is an airman specifically trained to apply aviation expertise to assess, train and educate, advise and assist foreign personnel in the development and application of their aviation resources to meet their national needs in support of U.S. interests.

“Cubic personnel will provide on-site support to assist the Air Advisor Academy education and training mission by furnishing instructors, curriculum developers, and other support as required,” said Glenn Marsh, Vice President and General manager for  Cubic’s Omega Training and Education Division, in Columbus, Georgia.
