HAI Authorised Maintenance Center for Rolls Royce T56 Engine Until 2021
- Rolls Royce renews its trust in HAI's technical expertise with a 10-year agreement
Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI) is once again selected by Rolls-Royce as Authorized Maintenance Centre (AMC) for T56 engine. The Global Power Systems Company renewed its trust in HAI’s technical expertise with a 10-year agreement that authorizes the company to perform overhaul and repair on all T56 Series military and commercial engines and, thus, attract business from the international market.
T56 engine is one of HAI’s core businesses. In this context, renewed membership in global Rolls Royce AMC network until 2021 opens up new business opportunities for the company thus contributing to the implementation of HAI’s successful export-oriented strategy.

It is noteworthy that approximately 6.500 T56 engines are in service globally, powering aircraft including the C-130 Hercules and the P-3 Orion. The Rolls-Royce T56 engine has been in production for 58 years, holding the record as the longest-running continuous production engine in the large turboprop class and more that 16,500 T56 engines have been produced. The engine is used in 70 countries around the world, powering military and commercial aircraft, and has amassed 225 million operating hours.
