Flight training of Aeroflot pilots continues in Zhukovsky

Within the framework of training Aeroflot pilot crews the SSJ100 aircraft 97005 yesterday successfully performed four flights with total duration of two hours 40 minutes in Zhukovsky.

Each of the two Aeroflot pilots who completed the theoretical ground training and simulator sessions carried out two final base flights with the pilot-instructor from the Zhukovsky-based Training Center.

The program covered handling of major flight modes within the aircraft’s operational limits. In particular, it included normal landings and takeoffs as well as “touch and go” both in normal more and with the imitation of the engine failure.

Since December 2011 the Zhukovsky-based Training Center trained 54 pilots for Aeroflot.
