The main reason for Euroatlantic to chose the EFB solution for iPad® is cost savings. Once the installation is accomplished, the time consuming and costly distribution of paper updates on navigation charts and aircraft manuals will be history, says Tomaz Metello CEO Euroatlantic Airways.
We are delighted to have been selected by Euroatlantic Airways to provide this innovative and cost saving modification. This proofs Fokker Services is successful in providing this modification on various regional, narrow body and wide body Aircraft types, says Heino van der Laan, VP Marketing & Sales Fokker Services.
The EFB solution for iPad® has been developed and tested with the pilot in mind. It is mobile, user friendly and most of all personal to its owner. Information can be stored, catalogued and bookmarked. The touch screen makes browsing and annotating quick and easy whilst flight plans can be studied prior to boarding. The one-click update automatically replaces outdated content with new versions via the internet. Keeping pilots updated and informed and improving lines of communication within an organization.
