GECAS Delivers 4th New Boeing 737-800 to Travel Service Airlines

GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced delivery of a new Boeing 737-800 aircraft leased to Czech Republic-based Travel Service, a.s.

The aircraft comes from GECAS’ existing order book with Boeing and expands the airline’s fleet. This multi-aircraft deal between GECAS and Travel Service comprises two deliveries in 2011 and three more in 2012. The fifth and final delivery is scheduled for May.

As of the beginning of June the airline will operate a fleet of 21 Boeing 737-800 and 3 Boeing 737-700 aircraft to more than 200 destinations on four continents.
