GE Signs 10-Year OnPointSM Solution Agreements with Delta Air Lines

DALLAS, Texas - April 4, 2011 - GE has signed two 10-year OnPoint solution services agreements with Delta Air Lines for its CF6-80C2 engines. The agreements cover material support for CF6-80C2 engines that Delta owns as well as CF6-80C2 engines for third party airlines.
The airline has also signed CF6-80C2 component repair license and engine overhaul support agreements with GE. These agreements will provide Delta with access to OEM technical data for component repairs and engine overhaul to assist in their overhaul operations.

The CF6-80C2 engine is the most popular CF6 engine model, with more than 3,700 engines in operation with more than 140 customers. The CF6-80C2 engine that powers Delta's Boeing 767-300ER aircraft also powers the Boeing 747, 767 and MD-11, as well as the Airbus A300 and A310 aircraft.
