Goodrich and LOT Polish Airlines Sign Nacelle Services Agreement
- For Support of Embraer 195 Fleet
- Work to be performed through Prime Solutions(r) at the Goodrich Prestwick Service Center
Goodrich Corporation (NYSE: GR) has signed a nacelle services agreement with LOT Polish Airlines for support of the nacelles and thrust reversers for the airline's fleet of Embraer 195 aircraft powered by CF34-10E engines. The five-year Prime Solutions® nacelle services agreement will be managed through Goodrich's Prestwick Service Center in Scotland, which provides support for LOT Polish Airlines' growing fleet of Embraer aircraft. Under the agreement, Goodrich will provide nacelle maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the thrust reversers, inlet cowls and other nacelle components. Similarly, Goodrich will also provide access to large nacelle components for lease or exchange.
Marc Duvall, Goodrich Aerostructures president, said the agreement is a vote of confidence in Goodrich services by LOT Polish Airlines. "This agreement demonstrates how another Embraer E-Jet operator has recognized the value of securing long-term nacelle maintenance and support services with Goodrich. With the largest pool of Embraer E190/195 nacelle components, combined with extensive nacelle MRO presence in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, Goodrich is uniquely positioned to provide support programs for these nacelle components to the airlines in this region," Duvall said. "Goodrich's Prestwick Service Center is one of our four nacelle service centers in EMEA and one of nine nacelle MROs in Goodrich's global network, which provides access to large nacelle rotables and MRO services to our customers, saving them time and money in transporting nacelle components around the world."
