GECAS Helps Aeroflot Build Long-Haul Fleet with 3 New Airbus A330s

GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced delivery of two new Airbus A330s on lease to Aeroflot Russian Airlines following a purchase-and-leaseback transaction with the airline.

A third new Airbus A330 is scheduled for delivery in April. All three aircraft come from Aeroflot’s existing order book with Airbus.

Aeroflot operates a fleet of nearly 100 aircraft to more than 100 destinations. The new A330s leased from GECAS are part of the airline’s multi-year fleet renewal program.
