Goodrich will display its sensor systems, surveillance systems, threat detection systems, power transmission, crash resistant seating, rescue hoists, engine components and advanced composite structures specific to the needs of the Army. AAAA 2012 takes place April 1 – 4 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.
Goodrich (booth 810) is partnering with the Army to provide solutions that: reduce the weight of Army aircraft with composite materials, improve operational readiness with health monitoring technology such as IVHMS on UH-60 Black Hawks and lower costs and increase reliability with combat proven, damage tolerant drive train systems. Additionally, Goodrich has redesigned components that remain on the aircraft up to 10 times longer, such as the Reliability Enhanced Stabilator Actuator (RESA) - a flight critical component aiding in aircraft stabilization - to reduce operational and maintenance costs.
Global GIS Market in the Military Sector 2014-2018
AAAA visitors will have the opportunity to view how advanced laser warning systems enhance helicopter survivability by detecting rangefinders, target designators and beamrider laser-aided systems. Currently used on U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk and AH-64 Apache helicopters, these affordable systems provide visual and audio alerts to the helicopter crew through onboard avionics. Goodrich is at the forefront of rotorcraft technology around the world and remains committed to increasing flight safety and reducing the maintenance burden on troops.
Goodrich technical teams will be on hand throughout the conference for expert demonstrations and to answer questions on applications and capabilities of its extensive product line. Visitors to the booth will have a chance to interact with these innovative products, and even have a chance to view some of the latest products in action.
