Terma has been awarded a contract by Lockheed Martin to provide the Terma AN/ALQ-213A Defensive Aids Controller (DAC) and associated engineering services to support integration of a Missile Warning System on the C-130J Super Hercules to be delivered to an International Customer.

The contract was awarded to Terma North America Inc. the wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of Terma.
The ALQ-213A DAC is mission critical equipment that provides the C-130J operator with future improved survivability and advanced capabilities such as Data Recording, Embedded Cockpit-crew Training and Enhanced Threat Response Processing.

The AN/ALQ-213A on the C-130J gives new and existing C-130J operators an option to affordably move to an enhanced Defensive Systems suite with a variety of different sensors and countermeasure subsystems.

The AN/ALQ-213A is a member of the Terma developed AN/ALQ-213 EW Controller family and is dedicated for large platform applications. The AN/ALQ-213 and related Terma Defensive Systems equipment is operational on 1,000 US A-10 and F-16 aircraft and more than 700 international F-16s, C-130s, AH-64s, F-111s and CH-47s.
