Beechwood Equipment Awarded Repair Contract by UK MOD

• Beechwood Equipment Ltd is proud to announce the award of Contract LWPB/00087 Repair of ACOG Weapon Sights by the UK Ministry of Defence on the 17th February 2012

Light Weapons Photographic and Batteries Project Team, Elm 3c, #4326, MoD Abbey Wood, Bristol BS34 8JH has awarded a 3-year repair contract with an estimated value of 352,670 pounds Sterling for the repair of Trijicon Inc Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG).

Beechwood Equipment is the sole UK distributor for Trijicon Inc and has supplied and supported UK MOD with several fleets of 1X, 4X and 6X ACOG sights since 1999. The contract was placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to Article 28(1)(e) of the Directive 2009/81/EC and Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011.
