USAF Awards $2.2 M for Equipping Tactical Deployable Communications Servers With AtHoc's EMNS
- AtHoc's Net-Centric Alerting Solution Provides Military Leaders the Ability to Rapidly Reach and Account for Soldiers Deployed in Military Missions Anywhere in the World
AtHoc, Inc., the pioneer and leader in providing network-centric emergency mass notification systems to military, government, healthcare, higher education and commercial organizations, today announced it will be equipping the U.S. Air Force's Theatre Deployable Communications (TDC) ground-to-ground kits with AtHoc IWSAlerts™ emergency mass notification system (EMNS). Under a $2.2 million prime contract awarded to Harris, AtHoc EMNS combined with Air Force TDC will deliver rapid bi-directional communications to meet force protection and personnel accountability requirements during deployed military contingencies and missions.
AtHoc is meeting TDC requirements to provide the latest commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions that can be rapidly delivered anywhere in the world, while reducing airlift and manpower requirements. Communications are available when needed in the field via TDC kits, Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), and Non-secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet).

The vast majority of U.S. Air Force units have procured AtHoc's defense & military emergency communication solution, making AtHoc IWSAlerts the primary network-centric EMNS in the U.S. Air Force. AtHoc IWSAlerts has been deployed in several centralized data centers, leveraging AtHoc's secure private-cloud architecture to now support hundreds of thousands of Air Force personnel at more than 120 locations around the world.
