Garuda Indonesia Orders CF34-powered Bombardier CRJs

Garuda Indonesia has placed an order for six firm CF34-8C-powered Bombardier CRJ1000 NextGen regional jets with an option to purchase 18 additional aircraft. The engine deal is valued at more than $50 million (USD) list price.

"Garuda Indonesia's selection of the CF34-8C-powered Bombardier NextGen regional jet is recognition of the advantages that the engine-aircraft combination can bring to the airline," said Allen Paxson, general manager of CF34 Program at GE Aviation. "The CRJ1000 NextGen offers customers improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions along with the outstanding reliability inherent in the CF34 engine family."
