Garuda Indonesia Orders CF34-powered Bombardier CRJs
Garuda Indonesia has placed an order for six firm CF34-8C-powered Bombardier CRJ1000 NextGen regional jets with an option to purchase 18 additional aircraft. The engine deal is valued at more than $50 million (USD) list price.

"The CRJ1000 NextGen offers customers improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions along with the outstanding reliability inherent in the CF34 engine family."

The 100-seater CRJ1000 NextGen aircraft is the largest member of Bombardier's CRJ family and is designed for high-frequency regional routes. Garuda Indonesia will be the Asia-Pacific launch customer for the aircraft.
