Rockwell Collins' 5th Generation ARC-210 incorporates modern cryptographic capability
- Becomes first airborne V/UHF radio to incorporate capability with Tactical Secure Voice
The Rockwell Collins RT-1939 ARC-210 fifth generation radio continues to lead the airborne V/UHF market by being the first airborne software defined radio to be fully certified and fielded with modernized cryptographic capability with Tactical Secure Voice (TSV) encryption.
“This modernized cryptographic capability will assure the warfighters of continued air-to-air and air-to-ground secure V/UHF communications via the ARC-210 family of next-generation software defined networking radios,” said Bob Haag, vice president and general manager of Communication and Navigation Products for Rockwell Collins. “This capability will lead to enhanced warfighter capabilities and will make communications virtually seamless.”
