Implant Sciences' Quantum Sniffer QS-B220 Bench-Top Explosives Trace Detector Achieves ASTM E2520 Certification
- Standard Establishes Effectiveness of QS-B220 for Security Screeners and First Responders
Implant Sciences Corporation (OTCQB: IMSC) (PINKSHEETS: IMSC), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security markets, announced today that its Quantum Sniffer(TM) QS-B220 bench-top explosives trace detector has passed all tests of the ASTM E2520-07 "Standard Practice for Verifying Minimum Acceptable Performance of Trace Explosive Detectors." The test confirms that the QS-B220 performs to the required standards of performance in the detection of trace amounts of explosives including TNT, RDX, and PETN. The tests were conducted by Cambridge Polymer Group, an independent laboratory. ASTM International, formerly known as the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), is a globally recognized leader in the development and delivery of international voluntary consensus standards.
