ATK Receives Orders for $10 M of Non-Standard Ammunition

ATK (NYSE: ATK) announced today that it has received $10 million in orders to provide non-standard (non-NATO) ammunition for the Afghan Security Forces, under an existing three-year contract with the U.S. Army. Under the contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command in Rock Island, Ill., ATK provides supply chain management, quality assurance and logistical expertise in the delivery of non-standard small, medium, and large caliber ammunition, as well as mortars and rockets, for use by allied security forces. "The receipt of these orders demonstrates our commitment to superior execution and on-time delivery of ammunition in support of our allies," said Mark Hissong, Vice President and General Manager of ATK Small Caliber Systems. "So far, ATK has delivered more than 300 million non-standard items under our existing multi-year contract, and has consistently performed ahead of delivery schedule."
